Sukkah, in progress

I am exploring the meaning of home, especially a temporary home. The maps are inspired by my grandfather's WW2 map from his time as a soldier in Belgium. As I was going through his memorabilia, I wondered what it was like to be an American Jew fighting in Europe.  And, what does it mean to be a Jew now?  Where is home?
​I also include maps of the places my family has lived (and where we live now)--Eastern Europe, New York, and Connecticut.
